Etree, a startup e-business cards delivered to your mobile, decided not to go into incubation. I can understand that incubation is not appropriate for all businesse, however the reasons for doing so in this case were a surprise to me
The article stated E-Tree founders thought that some businesses don’t take companies in incubators seriously and can be growth limiting”. This is hard to believe considering the successes that has arisen from companies that have come out. If they hold back a start-up I am sure it is most likely for their own benefit. Furthermore the ICEHOUSE focuses on high growth companies that want to succeed internationally. Etree fits right into this category. Their concerns were also mirrored by Run the Red marketing company.
